Biography

Jonathan F. Kominsky is assistant professor of cognitive science at Central European University in Vienna, where he founded the Causal Cognition Lab and co-directs CEU's Cognitive Development Center. His research investigates how the human mind identifies, represents and reasons about cause and effect, tracing the development of these abilities from infancy through adulthood. The lab combines behavioural studies with infants, children and adults to understand how intuitive theories of physical and social causation are built up over the lifespan.
