Transparency & Reproducibility
Open Science
SCENE fosters multi-disciplinarity and enhances scientific rigor through the early and frequent sharing of data, code, and protocols — both within and beyond the consortium.
Publications
SCENE is committed to making its research outputs freely accessible. Our foundational NeuroView paper, outlining SCENE's goals, hypotheses, and approaches, is published as an open-access article. Future publications from all teams will follow the same open-access principles.

Open Data
A dedicated team of data scientists develops cloud-based storage solutions for seamless data sharing within and beyond the consortium. Standardised frameworks ensure reproducibility across studies and laboratories, enabling the broader scientific community to build upon SCENE's datasets.
Open Code
SCENE builds on established open-source tools such as DeepLabCut for markerless pose estimation and develops shared pipelines for data processing, dimensionality reduction, and latent dynamics inference. A common API for POMDP development across ecological tasks will be openly available.
